Sunday - New Piece ''Deaths Vs the Time Space Continuim or Something Like that''....

Finished Drawing a piece called 'Deathly Optimism through the Ages' or 'Death in Space time', or maybe 'From Space to Death and back again' I don't know you choose....

I've been fiddling with this one on Photoshop but the original drawing is just markers as usual.

The two characters that look like the Grim Reapers are just random, they appear in many forms in a lot of my drawing without being planned there. They are usually just two little stick people both pointing at something far off intangible. Enjoy feel free to give me your interpretations.

My back pain has subsiding for now, hooray for strecthy back people.....

Saturday Post - Automatic Drawing & Our Funky Form of Normality

So I'm reliably informed what I draw is like Automatic Drawing. Which is basically true wikipedia list automatic writing as...

"Automatic writing or psychography is writing which the writer claims to be produced from a subconscious, and/or external and/or spiritual source without conscious awareness of the content.^[1]''

That is exactly what I do, just with drawing so I googled it, as usual failed to find similar examples which pleases me. I'm pleased and very fortunate to be Unique :D.

Always pleased to know if somebody else does this aswell and check out there work. I know of a few on facebook already.

The Pain is finally Subsideing a little and hopefully soon here things will return to our funky form of normality.

My Life as a Arist the non-neurotypical Art Blog

After much time away in the shallow land of  Tumblr where I amassed  a small army of 4000 mindless Silent Hipster Tumblites I  have returned to a more communicative personal blog format over here on Blogger :)

I Shall keep it relaxed, Sharing my Art when I have it which is very often, and discussing my  life as an artist now living in the States.....

This Picture is a reworking of my first foray into using paints. Its called The Canvas of Chaos Mark II and its by me Frank Louis Allen.. All my work is withoout intention usually so its a bit of a differe t thing for me to rework a piece.

As I have PDD-NOS autism along with the symptoms of ADD I cant always direct my Art. In face I can hardly ever do so. I felt really relaxed with this piece and hope to be able to get some paints to work on it tomorrow.

I look forward to being on a blogging platform again with a more communicative format and sharing my Art with you guys.

The Art...

Went for a walk in the bitting hail and rain and came back turned off the computer and finished this. This nothing Like being dry whilst walking threw bitting hail in the Dark listening to music. When I got in I put on a rare vinyl and finished this off Marker Pens on A2 paper. Then this morning I recoloured some colours on photoshop ready to post.

The Music...

A Awesome colloborations of mordern musicians, Vic Chesnutt's album  North Star Deserter featuring heavily  A Silver Mount Zion, and another personal fave DC Hardcore ledgend Guy Picciotto from Fugazi. The music can not fail to move at some level.



When I Got in I put on a rare Velvet Underground Vinyl I picked up in Cambridge called Orange Disaster, It was pretty rough recordings but still really cool to draw to, John Cale was still there and that was the important thing.

Here they are doing a Tract Nirvana would later cover, Enjoy.

14 12 11 - London Paris Moscow New York

Here goes the first Scheduled Post.





Firstly some good news about the Artist. My surgery was delayed but i had t go see the Surgeon to get some bad news. The Surgery is delayed  and I need a new Scan. This is horrible, If it goes just a week longer it means being off work for more that 8 months, and bang goes my job.

But the good news, the doctor said I should phone to offer to take a cancellation for the scan, take anything. I was parallelized with fear at the prospect of phoning, any making of phone calls cause me anxiety. But I plunged ahead afte4r a whole day of worry. I got in tonight which was totally unexpected, I'd highly recommend trying that if your going inot surgery and you need a scan and your worried about the length of time your been off work.

 The Doodle is called Animal Crackers, Marker Pens on A2 Paper. Took about one and a half hours to do, double that to scan the monster.

You get a Scanned in Doodle today  instead of a photo. Im going to try predating my post so they go Automatically up. I'm going to try 8.30 New York time first, to just catch those people about to start work Idling on there computers.

23 11 11 - The Doodle Arrived or Sci-Fi Butterfly

Ive done it, its taken me half the day to focus enough to scan this in......

Ok I've turned off the main distraction to blog posting, Today that was the Smashing Pumpkins Earphoria a totally awesome compliation Soundtrack of various Pumpkins Performances thats also a Video Sound Bio Pic Movie Thing.

Before them it was Dan, which I gotta say was Awesome, Google+ have a chat room where you can actually both draw on the same Page. How awesome is that, and he was alble to listen to my music aswell. Was playing the Unicorns and because its awesome funny Indie Synth Pop I'll post a vid of it.



Back to the A3 Doodle Story Frank!

I'd woken up at 3 am very aware that I needed to get up and do something if I was Ever to Sleep. This is so typical of the type of thing you draw at 3 in the morning. Tell me what you think of the Art and the Musical Awesomeness of the Unicorns,

I read that Jung believed fish represent the unconscious mind, and that unconscious is like the sea. I like that, there might be something in that. But what on earth does a Alien Moth represent?

15th November 2011 - Rock N Roll

Post for 15^th November 2011

Probably one of my Favorites to sketch so far, It screams Rock and Roll. Although It came from a stressed environment, the football was on and I was hid away in My sisters farmhouse Kitchen. I love farmhouse kitchen Tables the chance of me ever having such a luxury slim to nil but enjoying someone else's to draw on, Priceless.

This one, although quite easily drawn in Just about 2 Hours in my sisters Kitchen, was a Nightmare. Although It is just a single A2 Image, I had to scan it in 6 Sections on 2 different a4 Scanners just to get something I could match up. If it had been colour it would have been completely Impossible. I may have to sell some just to be able to afford a scanner to scan them in.

There was no music on but if there was I'd imagine it'd be cool but melencholy, so I'll stick on some Bon Iver
